I am so glad that the Holy Spirit is our guide and is a type of divine umpire of our lives. He leads us into all truth.
John 14;26 “But the Helper will teach you everything and will cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name.”
We have possibly heard the scripture echoed from the book of Job 13;15 many times, “Though He slay me, yet I will trust Him’.
As familiar as that text reads to us, how many times have we thought about the enormous trials that Job went through as he was quoting this very statement.
In Luke 10;29 We see that a man asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus replied by sharing the story of the Good Samaritan.
This Samaritan man, who was most likely going about his business for the day, looked over and saw a man, who was his enemy, laying on the side of the road. He had been robbed, beaten and left for dead.
